Program Description
As AUCCCO prepares to celebrate 20 years of connection, community, and campus care, potential presenters are invited to join this interactive webinar designed to demystify the conference proposal process and help bring innovative ideas to the national stage. Centered on the 2027 conference theme, Writing the Next Verse: 20 Years of Connection, Community, and Campus Care, this panel discussion will provide an overview of AUCCCO's conference history, mission, and commitment to advancing outreach, consultation, embedded services, prevention, and campus-wide mental health initiatives.
Panelists will review the various presentation formats available for submission, including 60- and 90-minute general sessions, pre-conference workshops, and showcase presentations. Attendees will learn about the purpose, structure, and audience for each format, explore examples of successful presentations from previous conferences, and hear insights about topics that consistently resonate with conference participants. The discussion will also highlight how presenters can align their proposals with the conference theme and tracks, including outreach initiatives, embedded services, campus partnerships, leadership, assessment, innovation, and systems-level approaches to collegiate mental health.
Whether you are a first-time presenter or a seasoned conference contributor, this session will provide practical guidance, inspiration, and opportunities to ask questions directly to experienced AUCCCO members and conference leaders. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of the proposal process, enhanced confidence in developing a submission, and ideas for showcasing their work in ways that contribute to the future of collegiate mental health and outreach.
